I also read that most slack users, instead of rpm2tar use the package alien with the -c -t options, for better slackware compatibility. Those drivers may work, but were way more complex to install than necessary last I checked. Linux Power User Bundle. Where should I look for errors?
Thanks Puntjuh I also installed the drivers by using rpm2tgz and installpkg set up the printer with cups and the test page printed, the printer is detected as default so I tried to print a few diferent text files a mousepad file, a vim file and some random stuff and the printer comes up when using the print command but the printer doesn’t do anything. I’ve found a couple of howtos but pinux all seem to be pretty out of date. Brother doesn’t seem to be supporting the MFCc printer line.
