They are actually just the partitions of your raid drives, prefixed with a complex name. Partition your individual array drives and make the partitions type fd Linux raid auto.

Managed to get my striped set RAID0 working following this howto. My next test is to make the same things but install Grub on a normal floppy disk using this procedure by Fuche: I’ve moved from Mandriva to Ubuntu Edgy 6.
